Advanced Master Contemporary Music

A two year advanced master programme focussing on contemporary solo and chamber music under the guidance of the ensembles Ictus and Spectra
This programme includes workshops and lectures by influential composers, choreographers, theatre makers and visual artists, as well as various performances with the Ghent Advanced Master Ensemble G.A.M.E.  The first semester is dedicated to interdisciplinary workshops on the music/movement relationship, in collaboration with P.A.R.T.S research studios (lectures by, among others, Matteo Fargion, Thomas Hauert, Rudi Laermans, Simon Loeffler, Fredy Vallejos, Jeremiah Runnels, Myriam Van Imschoot, Marcus Begner, Michael Beil).  The two year master programme is completed with a master concert and a written thesis.
 
Application

Admission requirements : 
- a master's degree in music
- to pass an entrance examination on July 1st (application deadline June 3rd) or Sept. 1st (application deadline July 1st).
